Cadmium plating

Cadmium plating is a process that involves coating a material, especially metal, with a layer of cadmium to enhance both its external appearance and its robustness and resistance to corrosion caused by usage and atmospheric agents. It is a quite effective process, especially on materials such as copper, bronze, brass, and, of course, iron and steel.
